Transmission Probes

Transmission is the main information for many optical measurements. Although often considered a trivial measurement, sample tilt or refractive effects can cause variations in the signal not originated by absorption or reflection. To overcome this problem, integration spheres are typically used. However, an integration sphere has tlow efficiency and thus, requires long exposure times. The TP-1 head is based on a low-diffusing plate with a probe on both sides and is, therefore, the pefect tool when it comes to fast data acquisition.
