General Hints
Hardware check Please check hardware first with AdminTool software
We offer various versions of the Front End Electronics in respect to connectors and their location. Please check which one suits your demands most. PDF Front End Electronic Versions
We even offer to disclose the interface of our FEE board. This allows you to use your own interfacing and software solutions. Please contact us for details.
Firmware To add new fetaures tec5 upgrades and expands the firmware of electronic components. Please contact us in case of a special demand.
Cables
  • Keep cable length as short as possible
  • Apply shielding if cables are longer than 50cm
  • USB cables do not exceed 5m by specification
  • The longest successfully tested PCI cable is 8m
  • Ethernet connections are almost limitless
Grounding
  • Very important for a proper video signal
  • Combine all GND cables to a central location, if possible at the metal chassis
  • Ground shielding cables on one side only

Integration Times
  • Shortest int time is readout time (except for InGaAs arrays)
  • Shortest int time for InGaAs arrays is 0.1ms
  • Longest integration time is 6.5s standard
  • Longest integration time can be extended to up to about 9 minutes, please see SDK manuals for details
