Carl Zeiss’s Multi-Channel Spectrometer charged-coupled device (MCS CCD) series is based on Hamamatsu’s high-quality S7031 CCD series with 532×64 or 1044×64 pixels for high sensitivity with a large dynamic range.
With only three optical elements (entrance, imaging grating, and the detector array) and a special cementing technology, it is permanently wavelength calibrated with low temperature-induced wavelength drift. Thus, it is the perfect solution for applications requiring high reliability and high sensitivity. A fiber-optic cross-section converter acts as the optical input, enhancing the throughput by more than a factor of 5 compared to standard compact spectrometer devices. Thus, it is the perfect solution for applications requiring high reliability and high sensitivity. Different versions are available covering various wavelength ranges between 190 and 980 nm.
Over 300 spectra per second can be acquired when operated by tec5 electronics.
