Carl Zeiss’s Multi-Channel Spectrometer Photo-Diode Array (MCS PDA) series is based on Hamamatsu’s high-quality photodiode arrays with 512 or 1024 pixels for high signal-to-noise performance.
With only three optical elements (fiber-optic entrance, imaging grating, and the detector array) and a special cementing technology, it is permanently wavelength calibrated with low temperature-induced wavelength drift. Thus, it is the perfect solution for applications requiring high reliability. A fiber-optic cross section converter acts as the optical input, enhancing the throughput by approximately one order of magnitude compared to standard compact spectrometer devices. Different versions are available covering various wavelength ranges between 190 and 1100 nm.
Over 1000 spectra per second can be acquired when operated by tec5 electronics.
