Leadership Transition: Welcoming Dr. Monde Qhobosheane
As of June 1, 2025, Dr. Monde Qhobosheane has officially stepped into the role of CEO at tec5USA. Over the past few months, Dr. Qhobosheane has gradually taken on leadership responsibilities, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition.
Dr. Qhobosheane brings deep experience in executive leadership, business development, and customer-focused innovation. His leadership approach centers on a simple mission:
“Create the customer, satisfy their needs, and keep them close.”
Dr. Qhobosheane previously held key leadership roles at Spectro Scientific, Spectro Analytical, and Analytik Jena, and holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida. His vision is to build on tec5USA’s strong legacy by driving innovation, supporting growth, and continuing to develop solutions that help customers achieve their business goals while contributing to a safer, healthier, and better world.
“I’m honored to join tec5USA and excited to work alongside our talented team,” said Dr. Qhobosheane. “Our focus remains on helping our customers succeed through cutting-edge spectroscopy solutions and trusted partnerships.”
Honoring the Leadership of Sebastian Hülck and Ioana Rednic
We also want to take this opportunity to recognize and thank Sebastian Hülck, who has successfully led tec5USA for the past seven years. Under his leadership, tec5USA expanded into new markets, formalized internal structures, achieved multiple ISO certifications, secured GSA approval for government sales, and obtained UL Certification for hazardous location applications.
“Leading tec5USA has been an extraordinary journey,” said Sebastian. “I’m proud of what we’ve built and deeply thankful to the entire team. I look forward to what’s next.”
In addition, we extend our gratitude to Ioana Rednic, who served as Chief Operating Officer for five years. She joined during the onset of the pandemic, led our operations through global disruptions, oversaw the successful relocation to our expanded Plainview, NY facility, and played a key role in developing tec5USA’s business unit structure.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute during such a transformative time,” said Ioana. “I leave proud of the work we’ve done and excited for the road ahead.”
